This policy covers the Perimeter Android app and the service behind it at app.perimeterlock.xyz.
Who we are
Perimeter is made by EzPeasy AI, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Contact: ezpeasy.ai@gmail.com.
Perimeter is provided to you by your employer. Your employer decides which apps are blocked and where the office is. We run the service for them.
What stays on your phone
These are used on the phone to decide whether to block an app. They are not sent to us or to your employer.
- Your location. The phone checks it against the office area. Your coordinates never leave the phone.
- Which app is open. The app's accessibility service reads only the name of the app in front. It does not read screen content. Which apps you open is not recorded or sent.
- Nearby Wi-Fi network names. Compared on the phone with the office's network names, to help when location is unsure.
- Apps installed on the phone. Used only to show the names and icons of blocked apps.
- Time spent at the office. Shown on the phone only.
What is sent to our server
- At sign-in: your Google account name, email address and profile picture link, and the sign-in tokens Google issues.
- With each session: the IP address and device details the sign-in request came from.
- A status report, sent when the app opens, when the office status changes, every six hours, and when you sign out. It contains:
- a random ID created when the app was installed (not the Android ID or advertising ID)
- your email address
- which setup permissions are on
- office status: inside, outside or unknown, and the reason for unknown
- when the app last received your employer's settings
- phone brand, model, Android version and app version
- the phone's clock time
- since when a setup problem has been unresolved, and whether you signed out
Each phone has one status record. Every report replaces the previous one; no history is kept.
Who can see it
- Your employer's administrators, on the Perimeter dashboard: your name, email, office status, setup checks, phone model and when the phone last reported.
- EzPeasy AI, to run and support the service.
We do not sell data, show ads or use analytics or tracking tools.
Services we use
- Railway hosts our server and database. Data may be stored outside India.
- Google handles sign-in. Location on the phone uses Google Play services.
- OpenStreetMap servers receive the office's coordinates to draw the map in the app. They never receive yours.
How long we keep it
Your account and status record are kept while you use Perimeter. Sign-in sessions expire on their own. When you or your employer ask us to delete data, we delete it within 30 days.
Deleting your data
See Delete your data. Uninstalling the app stops all collection from that phone.
Security
All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted (HTTPS). Dashboard access is limited to named administrators.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, and raise a grievance. Email ezpeasy.ai@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
Age
Perimeter is a workplace app for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
